Previous Degree Held

• Bachelor gowns are worn by bachelor degree, diploma, and certificate recipients. They are black Cambridge bachelor style, and have an open sleeve.
• They are a generous fit and should suit most people. We do have gowns that are wider across the shoulders  if required.
• Gowns are sized according to your full height and should be worn at mid-calf length. Please use the drop box below to choose the height range you fit in.
• The size you select is a guide only as every customer is given an opportunity for a personal fitting when collecting regalia, so if you are not sure of your height just leave the gown size on the current selection.

Massey University Stoles

• Stoles are worn by recipients of diplomas.
• They are like a long scarf and hang down the front over the gown.
• Massey University Stoles are black with a pale blue inner margin and the Massey University crest embroidered  near the hem on one side.
• No distinction is made between different classes of diplomas e.g. Undergraduate diplomas vs. Graduate diplomas.
• Stoles are sized according to your full height.
• The size you select is a guide only as every customer is given an opportunity for a personal fitting when collecting regalia.

• These are the traditional mortarboards or "Caps" worn by bachelors and masters.
• These are stiff shaped hats with a flat board on the top and a tassel. 
• These hats are black, with a black tassel. The tassel may hang to either side.
• These hats should be worn with the top board horizontal and the smaller peak of the cap to the front.
• The Trencher should sit comfortably so that it does not slip but feels safe when worn.

• Please measure your head circumference just above your eyebrows and straight round the back.
• Use a piece of string and a ruler if you do not have a measuring tape.

Bachelor Hood

• Please choose your Degree hood type from the list.

• We do hold a very limited stock of hoods from other New Zealand Universities. For example, if you already hold a BA from Auckland, Victoria or Otago Universities, we do stock these black and pink hoods.
• You can order a NZ BA hood, a Bachelor gown and a Trencher rather than a Massey Stole , Gown and Hat, if you do not want to wear the Massey Diploma Stole .
